Sebastien Leon Multidisciplinary Creative
Sebastien Leon is a French US-based artist, designer, and creative director, whose work embraces the fields of installation, sculpture, painting, video, music, and furniture. In addition to leading his own artistic practice, Sebastien is the founder and creative director of experiential studio “Formavision”, and the co-founder and designer of high-end furniture company “Atelier d’Amis.”
Through his multi-disciplinary work, Sebastien brings to life ethereal environments that are at once tangible, familiar, and yet unmistakably abstract.
Sebastien has worked internationally for brands such as Audemars Piguet, Audi, Coca-Cola, Diesel, Lexus, Krug, Nike, Piaget, Reebok, Sharp, and has shown his installations in venues such as the Palais de Tokyo (Paris), the Park Avenue Armory (New York), the New Museum (New York), the Palazzo della Triennale (Milan), UCCA (Beijing), Art Basel (Miami, Basel, Hong Kong), and Tanjong Pagar (Singapore).
In 2018, he was commissioned to create a public musical sculpture by the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, a public outdoor installation downtown San Francisco by Lufthansa, a series of videos by Samsung, and was also given a solo painting show by Von Lintel Gallery. He is the recipient of the 2019 Fashion Group International "Rising Star” Award for his furniture design work with Atelier d’Amis.
Sebastien received an MBA from Bocconi University in Milan.
