Ben Cullen Williams Multidisciplinary Creative
Multidisciplinary artist, Ben Cullen Williams' distinctive aesthetic focuses on experimenting with the sensory experience of light, space and form which informs the range of his work.
Having studied architecture at the University of Edinburgh followed by the Royal College of Art, Cullen Williams' continues to explore the boundaries between art and architecture. He draws on a range of digital and physical fabrication processes to understand our evolving relationship to the world in an increasingly digitalized environment.
Being able to work within multiple disciplines, Cullen Williams' work spans a wide range of mediums, from sculpture, installation, photography to film. Through his studio Research Structures this has allowed him to collaborate with brands and companies such as Y-3, the British Fashion Council, the Serpentine Gallery, Chloe, Beyoncé and Adidas.
Cullen Williams' work has been shown internationally, most recently at the Beaux Arts Museum, Nantes, France and in 2016 he was invited by the polar explorer Robert Swan to Antarctica where he created his photographic series Fragile Strength, which was also featured in travel and lifestyle magazine Cereal.
