Haley Wollens Styling
New York City native Haley Wollens launched her fashion career through the music industry, working with popular musicians on styling and creative direction (most notably M.I.A. and Drake). Haley is currently based in Manhattan where she works as a freelance stylist and creative director, contributing to Double, Man About Town, Purple, Numero Homme, Dazed, V, and other titles. Her frequent collaborators include Brianna Capozzi, Harley Weir, Eloise Parry, Tyrone Le Bon and Johnny Dufort, as well as video directors Ricky Saiz and Grant Singer.
Haley’s work is defined by its sense of exploration and curiosity, resulting in arresting images that blend playful physicality with provocative femininity (in menswear and womenswear both). This signature strength has earned her top clients such as Calvin Klein, Kenzo, H&M, and Hood By Air, in addition to an ongoing stylistic partnership with the iconic American actress Chloë Sevigny.
Born and raised in New York’s famous East Village neighborhood, Haley was inspired by fashion from an early age, thanks in part to her mother who worked as Director of Operations at the legendary Fiorucci store. Haley’s intuitive, outside-the-box approach to curating style has led her down many surprising and unexpected avenues that include film, video collage, costume design, pop-up shops, and fashion design. With an acute sense for what’s next and her ability to cut across and connect the worlds of art, music, film, and fashion, Haley is one of America’s most exciting emerging creative talents.
