Juliet Jernigan Set Design
Growing up in Oklahoma, Juliet has been interested in fashion and its media for as long as she can remember. After university she worked as a photo editor at ELLE magazine under Creative Director Joe Zee. It was the time spent on set, collaborating with some of the fashion world's most talented teams that appealed to her most. After three years of commissioning and producing shoots, she tried her hand at building sets for the magazine. With a lot of encouragement and support, in 2010 she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a full time career as a free lance set designer.
Noteably, while in Los Angeles, she consulted on Sofia Coppola’s The Bling Ring and First Point a short film by artist Richard Phillips.
Her magazine background, art director's sensibility, and extensive research has kept her working with photographers like Michael Thompson, Arthur Elgort, Carter Smith, Sebastian Kim, Emma Summerton, Paola Kudacki, and Horst Diekgerdes for clients such as Italian Vogue, Russian Vogue, GQ, Teen Vogue, and W Magazine. Juliet's advertising clients include Equipment, Anne Klein, Lucky Brand Jeans, Target, Joie, Tamara Mellon and Michael Kors
Juliet currently resides in New York where she continues to work on various film and print projects.
